Since its
inception, the NTRCFL has examined the following amounts of digital data:
A terrabyte
is 1000 gigabytes or 1,000,000 megabytes. A megabyte is about 500 typed pages. In 2006, the NTRCFL processed digital evidence that, if printed, would have been a stack of paper over 1376 miles tall.
If all those
pages were laid end to end, they would reach around the Earth at the equator just over 152 times, or reach to the Moon and back just over 8 times.
