The NTRCFL staff will be hosting a 3-day course to prepare law enforcement personnel who have certification or
training as instructors to return to their agencies and present this course on Digital Evidence: Search and Seizure.
It is important for participants in this course to be willing and able to return to their agencies and train not only the agency’s staff but those of surrounding agencies as needed. Those chosen and trained will be certified as Associate Instructors of the NTRCFL. We will only be selecting a few from each area of the North Texas region.
This course will include:

Affidavit exercises
Introduction to operating systems
Interviewing for computer searches

The course is designed to be a self-contained training package for instructors with a demonstrated interest,
affinity and knowledge of digital evidence to return as associate instructors of the North Texas Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory.
Continued status as an associate instructor will involve the spot evaluations, class evaluations and staying current with the curriculum. The course will be scheduled as interest generates.
Those interested should contact: Rod Gregg, Training Coordinator at rod.gregg@ic.fbi.gov.
