As part of our mission, the NTRCFL is dedicated to sharing the combined knowledge of our highly-trained examiners with the law enforcement community in the North Texas region and throughout the state of Texas. We have several TCLEOSE-certified instructors available to present a variety of topics to federal, state and local agencies.

We have instructed within the state, nationally and internationally on topics having to do with computer forensics and search and seizure.

If your agency or a group of agencies in your geographic area need training on the topics that we currently provide, please contact us on the contact page and include "Training" in the subject line.

1/12/12: Saudi College Student's Trial Postponed — Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari, 23, the Saudi citizen who attended South Plains College near Lubbock, Texas, will go on trial for attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction on May 14, 2012. The North Texas RCFL (NTRCFL) is supporting the investigation — see the full story.

4/13/11: North Texas RCFL Supported Successful Child Pornography Prosecution — Dallas resident Timothy Honnoll, 39, plead guilty in federal court to receiving child pornography, and will serve eight years in prison along with a lifetime of supervised release. The North Texas RCFL provided digital forensics support to the investigation which was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood. According to a press release issued by the FBI's Dallas Division, 600 images and 180 videos of child pornography were found on Honnoll's computer and related storage media.
